Our sustainable business premises

For example, from the beginning of 2024 we will be located in our new business premises on the Warmtekrachtstraat in Hattemerbroek. The modern business premises have been given a sustainable and green look. A result to be proud of. A feeling of a pleasant workplace in combination with sustainable solutions.

In addition to sustainable installations, such as 56 solar panels and a heat pump, the building has a sustainable interior with partly recycled furniture.

FSC Quality Mark

We only buy from partners who can guarantee FSC forest certification, which not only guarantees that the forest area is preserved, but also that the forest is managed in such a way that the existing biodiversity is maintained. In concrete terms, this means that forest management is organised in terms of planning and implementation in such a way that the existing natural values ​​are preserved, with special attention to the most vulnerable species.

The positive impact of FSC forest certification in terms of the conservation of populations of endangered species is also demonstrated by various studies.

We love wood and our planet!
However, as a major consumer of wood, we are very aware that we must and want to take our responsibility in the area of ​​sustainability. In collaboration with the municipality of Oldebroek and nature and environmental association Groentje Wezep, we plant an oak tree back in our municipality after every 50 orders, so we also give something back to our nature at a local level. Oak trees are among the most valuable trees that our forests have to offer. In addition to their aesthetic value, oaks have a range of ecological benefits that have a positive impact on our ecosystems and the environment. Oak trees offer a rich biodiversity and are an essential part of numerous habitats. They serve as a home base for various plant and animal species. As long-lived trees, oaks can absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, making them effective allies in the fight against climate change. In addition, oaks play a crucial role in maintaining soil health and promoting water conservation. Their extensive root system helps stabilize the soil, preventing erosion.
